Elisa Nardi

Founder of Notebook Mentor

Aged 15 Elisa wanted to be a writer and journalist. At the time it wasn’t an easy career to train for or break into. She went off to University, and the moment passed.

Elisa instead pursued a three-decade career in human resource management. She made it to the top of her profession, working for fifteen years as a group chief people officer for three well known global brands. Throughout her time as a subject matter expert in all things ‘people,’ she never lost her passion for storytelling or for using the written and spoken word to inspire others and engage them in personal development and learning. She has supported thousands of people through complex work, career, and life situations and wants to share what she has learned. Elisa has honors degrees in both Psychology and Sociology. She holds the Institute of Leadership and Management’s Level 7 qualification in Executive Mentoring and Coaching. In 2019 she joined the Board of the British Medical Association as an independent non-executive director. She chairs both the remuneration committee and the culture and inclusion oversight group.

Jill Mackenzie


Jill has a long track record of success leading Corporate Services and Human Resources in large organisations across multiple sectors. She is expert in leading organisational change and transformation, people strategy and service delivery.

Jill is currently a portfolio non-executive director. She serves on a number of boards as the Senior Independent Director, Deputy Chair or Chair in complex and regulated environments with multiple, powerful stakeholders and a high degree of public scrutiny.

Jill has a keen interest in board member and board chair effectiveness offering mentoring or coaching to clients seeking to maximise their impact at the board or senior leadership table. Jill’s board experience means she is fully versed in areas such as corporate governance, stakeholder management, public accountability, risk and corporate responsibility.

David Sneesby


David is an executive search leader and experienced executive coach and mentor.

A graduate of the University of Cambridge and Warwick Business School (MBA), David’s career includes senior Commercial, Marketing and General Management positions in leading international companies within the retail, leisure and media sectors. These include Marks & Spencer, Boots, Kingfisher, Nuffield Health, Crown Sports, Which? and Kantar TNS. David also has non-executive board experience. He is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

David’s executive experience spans over two decades and he has founded 2 leading firms focused on executive and non-executive appointments. Qualified at Level 7 in executive coaching and mentoring by the Institute of Leadership and Management, David leads The LSL Group creating bespoke integrated solutions which uniquely combine executive search and executive coaching to deliver industry beating outcomes.

Sarah Coombs

Finance & Operations

Sarah joined the business in May 2020. This year she moved to a new role working for ēniteō in Finance and Operations. In this capacity she helps run all our back office operations and ensures we build great supplier and partner relationships.

She started her career in Fashion Buying and Merchandising, working for high-street retailer Debenhams for 15 years. During this time she was lucky enough to be seconded to work in Hong Kong as well as holding various UK posts.

After bringing up her daughter, Sarah returned to work, retraining as a Book Keeper, and taking on a variety of Administration and Office Management roles. Here she really did have to be a ‘jack of all trades’. Her breadth of skills, along with a sharp analytic mind, made her a perfect fit for us.

Chris Parsons


Chris is an experienced writer and editor. Whether writing corporate reports, marketing material, news or other communications, Chris helps clients cut through the tangle of knowledge and context to find the story within.

As a storyteller Chris creates engaging, readable content that connects audiences to brands and to each other. He is approachable, positive and a good listener – always able to help people find their voice with high quality, tailored and impactful writing.

We are delighted that Chris is working with us on Notebook Mentor.

Simon Taylor

Company Director

Simon worked for ēniteō and Notebook Mentor from 2018 to 2021. He has recently moved back into a full-time corporate role, but remains a Board Director of ēniteō.

Simon started his career in electronic engineering, spending much of his working life in the Telecommunications sector at Vodafone, Ericsson and Marconi Communications. Mid career he moved into more general management, managing teams in New Product Introduction, Change and Programme Management.

Simon offers grounded, independent support to our team and remains a valuable contributor to our business success.
